we understand that unanticipated events occur in everyone’s life. In our commitment to provide a top-notch massage experience to all of our clients and out of consideration for our service providers time as well, we have adopted the following policies:
Arrival to your massage
Please arrive for your massage appointment 5 minutes prior to the scheduled starting time. This allows you the time for a relaxed and unhurried experience. If late arrival is inevitable, your service(s) will be shortened in order to keep on schedule. No full or partial refunds will be given.
CANCELLATION / MODIFICATION POLICY
While we understand life happens, same day cancellations do not provide enough notice for your massage therapist to fill your scheduled time-slot. This in turn, causes them to lose time and money. we ask that provide at least 24 hour's notice for any modifications to your schedule. Same day cancellations or rescheduling will result in a $50 fee.
LATE ARRIVAL POLICY
Out of respect to our other clients, late arrivals will not receive extension of scheduled appointments. In special cases, and when the schedule will allow, your massage therapist may be able to accommodate a partial or full appointment. This will be at their discretion and only with proper, advanced notification of your late arrival. The original reservation fee will be charged.
NO SHOW POLICY
Zen & Now considers a "no-show" for a massage as: When 15 minutes of the scheduled appointment time has passed, and the client has not yet arrived. we reserve the right to offer service for the remaining of the allotted time but at full price. Otherwise, a new appointment will need to be scheduled. Clients who fail to show for massage appointments will be charged the full rate AND A Credit Card will be needed to reschEDULE.
SCOPE OF PRACTICE
our massage therapists are licensed professionals and held to the highest standards of the American Massage Therapy Association. Massage Therapy is a profession in which the practitioner applies manual techniques, and may apply adjunctive therapies, with the intention of positively affecting the health and well-being of the client. we cannot diagnose or prescribe for medical conditions nor allowed to provide treatment for a specific condition without a doctor’s supervision. all mt's are required to refer you for diagnosis and to follow recommendations of your physician.
RESPECT FOR CLIENT NEEDS AND BOUNDARIES
zen and now service providers are happy to adjust pressure, musical volume and work longer on an area or move on if you request it. The client may choose to refuse any methods, stop massage at any time, and is free to leave. All efforts will be made to give you a wonderful massage but should the session end early, full payment for the time is required.
PROFESSIONAL BOUNDARIES
Requests for sexual activity will not be tolerated, will be viewed as solicitation, and reported to the proper authorities. The client will not be rescheduled if this occurs.
